Review: So Much has been written and talked about two taxi drivers that it seems almost superfluous to add something more. However, it again another night for the umpteenth time I was, as I have every time ive seen it, struck by just how perfect this movie is. There are so powerful and disturbing Now which was twenty five page. It was not just age, it becomes more and more important every year. This is undoubtedly a modern classic and one of the few really: great, timeless movies.Scorsese and Schrader went on to make another great movie after this, both separately (King Of Comedy, light sleeper) and together (Raging Bull, The Last Temptation of Christ), but this is easily the film better career them.
