Review: With lousy 5% Rotten Tomatoes, it seems like I'm Frankenstein one of the worst movies in , 2014, and 's only January. The abysmal review made me lower my expectations and surprisingly it is solid entertainment. Sure, it does not impress some level, but for January movie, it is enjoyable one.The story: The story is so generic as a direct-to-DVD movie can be. The Frankenstein monster, Adam, also gets struggle between Gargoyles and bad. Many decent action and dramatic scenes are squeezed into short runtime of 1 hour 32 minutes. Fortunately, the pace moves quickly without being boring. But short runtime also includes several problems that skimping on characters development. But it expected for since this is a mindless action Film based more on action CGI and the story and characters development. Acting wise is fine, not impressed. Bill Nighy plays his usual self as a villain. Aaron Eckhart has nothing much the emote as emotionless monster except fight and show off their bodies. The rest was not particularly noticeable. Music is incredibly nice and fits the tone movie.3D: For post-converted 3D movie, it looks good. It is good depth between the characters and backgrounds. It is also effective when it comes action flying scenes especially of Gargoyles and bursts of demons.Overall: It it is obvious that I am try In Frankenstein Following the success of the underworld movies. On own terms, it provides an entertaining watch with appropriate special effects and action. I guess the it could do better if released directly to DVD. It can not be good, but for January movie, it is a decent watch with decent 3D.
