Review: Feeling tired and battle worn, I've just stumbled out of the cinema after three and a half hours of special effects creatures battling other special effects creatures. I had taken refreshment but barely touched them - probably at Because of this movie I had seen one of the most fascinating, evocative, inspiring and amazing I've seen in all the major adventure epic. Not to mention the excellent ensemble acting, moods that can easily switch between medieval battles of colossal proportions and convincing bloodshed, beauty and wonder stunning natural and man-made landscapes and cityscapes, elements of humor, well-paced dramatic buckle pin , voltages and human bonding that moves enough just to let you dry your eyes, that the modest flashes by.Return king is the largest of the Tolkien trilogy from New Zealand director Peter Jackson. Also Ive seen the other two and read the book, I felt that it would also stand only good enough for people who hadnt made either.the story is much more professional as the first - could have worked to introduce so much information - or the other - as some have charged from the stress of long fight scenes. The Return of the King, there is an emotional sting at first, when we look at transformation of Gollum from warm, fun-loving guy, murderous, mutated wretch. The film then moves deftly between different segments of the story - the sadness of the beautiful soft focus Liv Tyler as Arwen fated if the wear and woman's love manages to get the sword that was broken mended, the friendship Sam and Frodo (Sean Astin & Elijah Wood), who tested limits, the strong commanding presence of Gandalf (Ian McKellen), who keeps island eye on things while you rotate an Oscar-worthy performance, brilliant and varied battle scenes, and the mythical cities that rise out of the screen and provides important plot elements. This is a saga of human stretc legs, to defeat the power of the wire and the triumph of the human spirit, is almost comparable with Wagner's Götterdämmerung. It's an adventure without a sugary sweetness, a tale the likes of which have not said so long before, and is even likely to do well in the future. Haunting screams Nasgul stay with you, the physical attractions are not retouched, and the fighting is about as far from pantomime characters waving wooden swords, as you can get. The brilliant monsters keep you on edge of your seat. Full story keeps the spirit (if not the files detailed precision) of original and makes you want to read the book The worst thing I can say about it is that it might be a tad long (or read the book again!) - But not that you would notice. . .
