Review: Family (2013) * 1/2 (out of 4) Luc Besson returns to the directors chair for this comedy about a former gang member (Robert DeNiro), who rats on his friends, and to have his family in trouble for witness protection . When he begins to write his life story of mafia guys went to try and track it down and do away with them his family. The family has so much talent involved, that we should give great movie, but unfortunately almost everything you could do directly with the concept turned into a complete disaster and were eventually left with really bad and disappointing film. The movie is wrong on many levels, including the fact that this comedy is just not all that funny. The idea of ​​the mafia guy had to get used to small, unknown place would have made for some laughs, but the only thing threw scenario offered good water did not make myself clear. Get some fantasy violent scenes, but they arent funny. Case talks with his wife (Michelle Pfeiffer), daughter (Dianna Agron) and son (John DLeo), also add up to very little. This is especially true with daughters plot deals with her relationship with the teacher. Even worse is the relationship between DeNiro and his FBI boys played Tommy Lee Jones. I never would have thought that these two actors in the same scene could lead to such boredom. Performances are fine, but with this much talent just expect more. DeNiro can be the master of comedy, but the script just never allows his character with nothing to do. Agron, daughter, definitely steals the picture.
